Tatsama Arts, established in the year 2016, is a creative collaborative foundation that aims to indulge itself in promoting theatre and other forms of performing art. Initiated by seven passionate theatre practitioners, the art group delves into artistic productions, which reflect various socio-cultural and literary facets of Nepal.
Tatsama Arts continuously seeks areas and possibilities to bring youths from different backgrounds and help them unleash their creative talent through interactive and collaborative discourses. The art group has also been intensively exploring the domains of social theatre, reaching out to a wide number of people for awareness and empowerment.
As of now, more than eighty theatre and performance artists have already explored themselves in areas of films, documentary videos and theatre performances, all of them through the art endeavors staged by Tatsama Arts.
The theatre group has also worked with JICA (Japan) for a post-earthquake reconstruction theatre project entitled 'Build Back Better Housing'. The purpose of which is to impart safe housing procedures through theatre performances to mitigate the disasters' effects. In addition to that, Tatsama Arts is actively involved in Ace Portrayals, a production oriented theatre training for A-levels students at Ace Institute of Management.
